As of January 2017, it’s been over 65 days that there is no rain fall in Switzerland. Apart from the consequences for the ski season (or lack of), for those living in the valleys we’re granted with a thick and cold fog.

After over two months living in such conditions without even being able to see the sun, it has taken its toll on some of us.

One afternoon, while watching webcams in an attempt to lift my mood a bit, I found out that the cable car of the Moléson was open up to 11 p.m..

From that point on, it was easy to convince the family for a beautiful sunset over the mountains.
